Mr. Saeed has a strong understanding of client, market and technology risks, and his responsibilities included participating in and chairing various management, risk and governance committees. He oversaw the teams responsible for millions of transactions and over $100bn of electronic client commerce per day, and participating in and chairing management, risk and governance committees. The flagship electronic solutions he and his team designed have won more than 90 industry awards.

He has also been recognised by Business Insider as one of the Top 10 People Transforming Finance in Europe and by Financial News as one of the ‘Top 40 under 40 in Trading & Technology’ on numerous occasions.

To champion Bahraini talent, in 2021 he worked closely with Tamkeen and the Bahrain Economic Development Board to launch Citi’s global tech hub in Bahrain, aimed at employing a thousand Bahrainis in highly skilled technology roles.

Prior to joining NBB, he was the CEO and an Executive Board Director of Citi Malaysia, leading over 5,200 employees. Mr. Ahmed was also the Executive Chairman of Citigroup Global Markets Malaysia and concurrently responsible for the Citi Solutions Centres hubs for AML, Securities Services and Cash & Trade operations, covering over 50 countries across the globe.

He has also been the CEO and Managing Director of Citi Bahrain, Kuwait & Qatar, while concurrently being the Global Head of Citi Islamic Banking, based in Bahrain.

As the Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director for Citi’s Asia Pacific Corporate Bank in Hong Kong and the Corporate and Investment Banking Head for Citi in Philippines, Usman was extensively involved in leading strategy and client coverage in Asia after the global financial crisis.

While at Barclays Bank Plc. Usman led a team of over 1,100 client coverage and Transaction Banking product professionals across 14 countries in the MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia regions as the Head of Corporate & Commercial Banking for Emerging Markets, based in Dubai.

Mr. Al Zayani leads NBB’s efforts to innovate its retail and digital propositions with the aim to increase the Bank’s market share via enhanced financial products and services, which work to further elevate the customer journey across NBB’s digital platforms, branches and ATM network. He has joined NBB first as the Head of Retail Banking.

Key Responsibilities: Mr. Nabeel Mustafa serves as the Acting Group Chief Operating Officer at NBB. Mr. Ali Abdulkarim drives the strategic direction and growth of NBB Group’s Corporate, Public Sector, Financial Institutions, Commercial, and Business Banking segments, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and objectives of the NBB Group. Career Summary
Before assuming this role, he was the Group Head of Coverage, responsible for developing and executing coverage model for the Group. With over 28 years of experience in banking, Mr. Abdulkarim possesses expertise in both conventional and Shariah-compliant finance. He started his career at Ahli Commercial Bank and moved through various institutions covering diverse roles across international banking, corporate banking, financial institutions, and treasury and investments. He has also served as the Executive Director at MUFG Bank in the UAE and headed the Financial Institutions and Sovereign Wealth Funds for the Middle East and North Africa. At Credit Agricole CIB UAE, he was the Managing Director for Financial Institutions in the Islamic banking division. He holds an Associate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Bahrain and a Certificate in Management from London Business School.

Supported by her extensive expertise in strategy and business development, Mrs. Al Zayani oversees the development of NBB’s growth strategy. She engages in identifying and developing growth opportunities for the Bank through organic and inorganic initiatives, including transaction support for the BisB acquisition in 2020. Zaina also leads post- acquisition management related to integration planning and implementation. She is currently responsible for the development of the Bank’s 3-year growth strategy, as well as aligning and monitoring the execution of the roadmap across all operations. In addition, she manages the proprietary equity portfolio of the Bank and seeks strategic investments and exit opportunities as aligned with the Bank’s strategy. Moreover, Zaina drives the sustainability strategy to ensure the effective application of associated governance metrics across the organisation and its adherence to local and international standards.

Zaina has over 20 years of experience in providing transaction support for M&A, investment management as well as compliance. Prior to her current position, she assumed several managerial roles including Head of Exchange of Financial Information at the Central Bank of Bahrain, Manager at Ernst &Young and a private investment holding company. She holds an MBA from DePaul University, USA, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Concordia University, Canada and is certified with an ICA International Diploma in Compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Ms. Hend Mohamed Mahmood serves as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer at NBB, where she leads Group-wide human capital strategy. Her mandate focuses on fostering a high-performance, people-first culture, advancing organisational transformation, and aligning HR frameworks with NBB’s long-term strategic priorities. Her responsibilities include overseeing workforce planning, leadership development, employee engagement, and the continued evolution of HR practices to support institutional growth and operational excellence.

Career Summary: Ms. Hend has over 30 years of experience in human resources, organisational design, and culture transformation. She has held senior leadership positions across Bahrain’s financial services and government-linked sectors. Prior to joining NBB, she served as Chief People Officer at Bahrain Development Bank (BDB). She has also held the role of Vice President – Human Resources and Administration at Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), with earlier experience including senior positions at Tharawat Investment House and Eskan Bank.

Ms. Hend holds a Master’s Degree in Work and Organisational Psychology from the University of Nottingham (UK) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Bahrain.

Other Engagements: Ms. Hend is a member of the HR Committee at the Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) and currently serves as an Advisor to the Bahrain Society for Capital Management. She is also an Executive Coach at Bahrain’s Institute of Public Administration and has also served as the Second Vice Chair of the HR Committee for Airport Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific.

Key Responsibilities: Mr. Husain Almohri serves as the Group Chief Executive – Markets & Client Solutions at NBB, overseeing the Bank’s markets, treasury, and capital markets businesses across all operating jurisdictions. He is responsible for driving strategic growth in regional and international markets, expanding NBB’s capabilities across asset classes, and delivering client-centric investment and trading solutions. He also leads the Group’s Markets & Securities Services function, aligning commercial objectives with regulatory standards while ensuring risk and governance frameworks remain robust.

Career Summary: With over two decades of banking experience, Mr. Husain has built a distinguished career in trading, treasury management, and capital markets across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. Prior to joining NBB, he held several senior leadership positions at HSBC Investment Bank in Dubai, most recently serving as Managing Director – Head of Trading MENAT and Regional Head of MENA Markets. In this role, he managed a wide range of asset classes including FX, rates, credit, financing, equities, and structuring, while overseeing Markets & Securities Services operations in Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Algeria. Mr. Husain has also held senior roles at Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, Investcorp, and Ahli United Bank.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology and has earned an Associate Diploma in Business Management from the University of Bahrain.

Mr. Mansour oversees all NBB-KSA operations, and is focused on developing medium-term strategies, positioning NBB-KSA as a regional financial player within KSA.

Prior to joining NBB, he was the Regional Head of Corporate Banking in SABB, and had previously held the position of Chief Corporate Banker in NCB (SNB). Mr. Mansour earned his EMBA from the London Business School, graduating in 2010.

Mr. Mansour holds several Board positions in both publicly listed and private companies in Saudi Arabia, including the board of United Cooperative Assurance, Saudi Fisheries, and Southern Province Cement. He serves as the Chairperson of the Audit Committee in Lightweight Construction Co. ‘SIPOREX’, and was the Chairman of the Foreign Banks Branches Committee (FBBC) for the year 2021.
